VanderBeek announces 2012 race plans
Zack VanderBeek receiving awards from USMTS and USRA promoters Todd and Janet Staley at the awards banquet held Jan, 20 at the Prairie Meadows Casino in Altoona, Iowa.

33z Racing and Zack VanderBeek is happy and excited to announce that the team will once again be affiliated with Casey’s General Stores with a sponsorship for the third consecutive year. Casey’s General Store is an Iowa-based company that gives back to the communities through sponsorships, gifts and most notably this past year with their involvement with the “Honor Flights” for the veterans. Casey’s General Stores also remains the main corporate sponsor for the USMTS series that we are racing in.

“Without the support of our sponsors, we would not be able to proceed and compete in our series on a consistent schedule,” stated VanderBeek. “Each and every sponsor is important and we hope we represent them well.”

Besides Casey’s General Stores, we would like to thank the continued support from the following sponsors: ABC (American Building Components Steel) of Oskaloosa, Iowa; McGriff’s of New Sharon, Iowa; Simmons Concrete Construction of New Sharon, Iowa; The Pro-Line Building Company of New Sharon, Iowa; Jones Powersports of Columbia, Mo.; Wayne Dalton Overhead Doors of Ankeny, Iowa; Tulip City Agency Ltd. of Pella, Iowa; Sunoco Race Fuels (Diamond Oil) of Des Moines, Iowa; AFCO Racing Shocks of Booneville, Ind.; Eibach Springs of Corona, Calif.; Aero Race Wheels of Estherville, Iowa; Fast Shafts of Des Moines, Iowa; Forty9 Designs of Stewartsville, Minn.; Buck Monson Photo of Albert Lea, Minn.; Sput’s Racing Engines of Owatonna, Minn.; Boubin Tire & Automotive (American Racer) of Independence, Iowa; Precision Performance of Oxford, Iowa; Tiger Rear Ends of Mount Ulla, N.C.; Grandpa and Grandma Garrison of New Sharon, Iowa; and a donor that wishes to remain anonymous.

Zack and his team/family finished strong in 2011 with the following recognitions:

· 2nd overall in the Arnold Motor Supply Central States Region
· 3rd overall in the Yeager Machine Upper Midwest Region
· 5th overall in the Swan Energy-Farm Boy BBQ Sauce Great Plains Region
· 8th overall in the Schwab’s Tinker shop MO-KAN Region
· 6th overall in the National Hunt for the Championship USMTS series
· 8th overall for total laps led
· Awarded 2011 Mesilla Valley Transportation Hard Charger award.  This award represents the driver that passed the most cars to achieve their overall position collectively in each A Main.

The 33z racing team will once again be traveling with the USMTS which covers 10 states at approximately 40 different venues. It will be a rigorous schedule with a tentative schedule of 80 nights of racing on our schedule. The USMTS series kicks off with the season opener in the Houston area on February 16th-18th.
