VanderBeek second behind teammate at Osky

Zack VanderBeek hopped back in Roger Kelderman's IMCA Stock Car on Wednesday, April 29, at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa. It was a three-wide finish at the checkers with VanderBeek finishing second by about six inches behind teammate Cayden Carter.

After sitting through rain-outs for most of the month of April, the team is anxious to go racing this weekend with a pair of USMTS shows in the MSD Central Region. On Friday, May 1, the team invades the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., and then on Saturday, May 2, it's on to the Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Mo., where 'The Z-Man' and Jon Tesch recorded the first and only tie for the win in a USMTS race back in 2008.
