USMTS Casey’s General Stores National Tour - 5th Annual Havoc at The Hummer

 This weekend turned out okay for the 33z Team. Saturday Night Zack started on the pole of his heat, and has been trying some different set up options on the car, well coming out of turn 2 the car looped around on him and he ended up finishing in the back of the heat. He drove hard in the B Main trying to qualify but some of the cars in that race made it impossible to pass. He didn't run the A Main but we figured that was okay since only 12 cars finished due to track conditions and cautions. Sunday was better!! He Started on the pole again of his heat race (this hardly ever happens) and won his heat. He let a little boy redraw for him and he drew #1 (this hardly ever happens also!!). His car was good but needed just a little bit more traction but still ended up 4th!! Great Weekend!

USMTS Casey’s General Stores National Tour - Inaugural Event

 Well this was the first time we have traveled to the Outlaw Motor Speedway, and we will have to say its a pretty nice place and track. We had a really good night tonight!! Zack started 10th (Dead Last) in his heat and with help from a couple cautions and some awesome restarts Zack got 2nd, but since the 1st place guy didn't go to tech he received 1st place points. That put him for Top Passing Points for the night. Oh and also Zack did a slide job in his heat!!! Never have seen that before either!! Zack drew 5 for the feature and was running well in the 4th place spot until the track locked down and it became one lane on the top. There were a couple of cautions in which Zack had to start on the bottom so he got shuffled back to 8th where he finished. We are very happy, however, with the night and the progress with the car setup!!

 Well the night turned out pretty good in the end. It started out a little shaky... Zack started at the end of his heat race and couldn't make very many passes, which put him 10th in the B Main. He had a great run there getting to 5th and giving him a starting spot of 23rd for the A Feature. The car was really good and Zack came on strong going from 23rd to finishing 5th. Overall very happy with the night!

 Zack started 6th in his heat race and had a good run getting up to 3rd. That qualified him for 12th in the A feature. The track wasn't that great for passing so we ended up 11th, but the car was pretty decent.

 Well this night started out great. Zack started outside front row in his heat. He won that putting him in the redraw. he drew #1 for the feature, as soon as he got going from the green flag his tire went down (not sure if he ran over something or not) He came in and we changed the right rear and he got back out before the caution was over. His car was good he got all the way back up to 14th so not too bad of night considering.

 Well tonight turned out Great!! Zack started on the front row outside of a heat race with Jason Hughes, Tommy Weder, Johnny Scott, Morgan Bagley and some other good drivers and won the heat race!! He drew #1 for the feature! With only one caution Zack was able to hold off the entire field for all 35 laps to come home with the first USMTS win of 2010!

 Well tonight started out kind of rough. Zack started 8th in his heat and finished 7th due to alot of rough and wreckless driving. He started 9th in the B main and drove a good race getting up to 2nd and qualifying him to start 17th. He drove hard and got up to 9th but then got turned into and knocked out of the way a little a ended up 11th. Not a bad finish though!

 Tonight started out pretty good. Zack started 3rd in his heat and won the heat looking really good. He drew #2 for the feature but missed the set up a little bit and lost ground finishing 9th. Still got a Top 10 however and can't complain about that with USMTS racing!

 Tonight went pretty well. We had some pretty tough competition as Jason Krohn, Kelly Shryock, Speaker, Grahm, and many others came down to race. We started the tail of the heat race and got into the redraw, which wasn't very good as we drew 11 for the feature out of 12! But Zack's car was good and with only one caution he got up to 5th. Overall we are happy with the night and it gave us a good read on next Wednesday as the USMTS will be coming to Oskaloosa. Hope to see you all there!

 Tonight went really great! It was the first night on our Victory Junction Car and we had a great showing! Zack started 2nd in his heat race on the Outside of Jon Tesch and won the heat. He redrew 6 for the feature and quickly moved into 2nd and putting the pressure on leader Ryan Gustin, but didn't quite have enough but great 2nd place finish for the 33z team!

 Tonight was a little bit rough. Zack started 1st in his heat but the car wasn't quite where he wanted it and ended up 3rd. He started the feature in 12th but the car was struggling and we finished towards the end of the field. Rough night, again, but looking forward to the rest of the week!

 Tonight was a rough night as well but we were mentally okay with it. Zack started at the tail of a tough heat with no passing and didn't get very far. He then had to start deep in a stacked B Main and didn't get qualified for the night. The bonus about this was as we watched several of the cars in the A Main get torn up and beat on we decided that we were okay with not being in the feature especially when 12 out of 24 cars only finished the A Main that night!

 Well all I Can say about tonight was WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was an emotional roller coaster for all of us. Zack didn't do well in his heat with no passing and had to run the B main. He was running 7th with 2 laps to go (Top 6 transfer to the A Main) and a car hit the wall and Zack got the spot to transfer.... At Deer Creek you take all the breaks you can get!! Anyways we started dead last (25th) in the A Main and right away we knew Zack's car was good! He was moving up fast and passing up to 3 cars at a time. By half way there was a caution and he started 16th. Then he proceeded to keep passing and before we knew it he was up to 4th and gaining on the leaders. Unfortunately there was not another caution to give Zack the chance to win but 25th to 4th is definitely something to smile about!!!

 Tonight was another good night for us! With a little rain right before hot laps we got the show in! There wasn't much passing in the heats so Zack had to run a B Main. He won the B Main and started 14th. The car was good but unfortunately the track wasn't very wide and Zack spent a lot of time trying to get around slower cars. We did get a couple of cautions to help aid that and Zack got up to 6th. The car was better than that we feel but due to the narrowness of the track, we are happy with the finish!

 Well tonight turned out well!! Zack started 7th in his heat and got up to 3rd getting him 5th in the redraw for points. He redrew 7 and spend a lot of time trying to get around slower cars but since there wasn't a lot of room ended up 6th. We were very happy with the car and the night!!

 We had another great night tonight!! The heat didn't go so great but he started on the pole of the 2nd B Main and got 2nd. That put him in the 16th starting position for the A Feature. Zack's car was really good, besides spending some time trying to pass slower cars, Zack passed a lot of cars. He made it very exciting on the last lap going into turn 3 he was in 8th, but coming out of 4 got a good run making it 4 wide and ended up 5th! Great run again for us tonight. That wrapped up the Mo-Kan region for USMTS and we ended up 5th! Very happy!!

 Tonight was a great night!! Zack started 3rd in his heat race and won it. The car looked especially fast tonight! Zack started 4th in the feature, but Steve Blattler got an early lead but Zack made up some ground and passed him going into 3, a few laps later Blattler passed him back but Zack gained ground again and won the feature!!

 Tonight turned out okay! Zack went from 4th to 2nd in his heat redrawing 2nd for the feature, but due to a missed setup and a few other problems, Zack ended up 6th. But still another great Top 10 for Zack!

 Tonight was a pretty good night. Zack started on the pole of his heat race and won it. He redrew 8th but due to not very much passing he ended up 7th. Still good for the week. One Top 5 and Two Top 10's!!

 This week was a struggle for the 33z Team, not due to the car being bad but due to all the track conditions and the overall moral of our luck and finishes. But the 33z team will come back with full force!! We had a terrible draw and ended up 4th in our heat race, with again no passing due to heavy track!! Zack started on the pole of the B Main and won it but, again due to no passing he went from 14th to 11th!

 Tonight was another not so good night. We again drew the tail of our heat race on yet another track that had already gotten tons of rain but they felt the need to water it down!! This led to a no passing, rough, and heavy track. Zack had to start at the tail of a B Main in which he got plowed off the track by another car so we ended up no making the feature tonight. We weren't that upset, since there were a lot of torn up cars that came in from that feature!

 Well we thought tonight would be a different story but it really wasn't. The car was good going from 6th to 3rd in the heat. But the track was heavy and over watered once again and the feature was rough and dangerous. During the first few laps, Zack was running right behind the fellow Casey's Driver Pat Grahm when he flipped his car about 3 times, while this was happening Zack managed to go UNDER Grahm to avoid the wreck!! How he did this we will never know! So once the race got started up again a mud clod hit Zack's helmet and knocked it completely sideways to where he couldn't see, so he had to pull up the track to straighten it out. From this he lost many spots and decided to pull in and call it quits! Just to give you an idea of how the track was only 11 out of 24 cars finished!

 Again tonight we felt like we were in a VERY BAD DREAM and couldn't get out. Heavy no passing track and yet again we start on the tail of our heat. Didn't get anywhere, and didn't make the feature. At this point we were all tired of the way things had been handled, and how our cars have been ran, so we packed er' up and headed home for a relaxing weekend!!

 Well tonight we continued our bad luck streak as we broke our motor and then got the back up car out for the feature and right away Zack ran over a drive shaft someone lost and put a hole in our oil pan. We are taking the whole weekend off and having fun.... maybe it will help turn things around. Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday weekend!

 Tonight was a solid night for the 33z team. Zack went from 4th to 2nd in his heat. He redrew 4 for the feature, and stayed there for a while, and then on a restart he got stuck in the wrong lane and got passed by a couple of cars but still got 6th and another top 10 for the 33z modified!

 Tonight was another pretty good night for the 33z. Zack started 2nd in his heat and finished 1st. He drew the pole for the feature, right away Tommy Meyer got around Zack but then Zack passed him back and led the next 10 laps. Then on a restart Zack got passed by guys on the high side but still got a 5th place finish and a top 5!

 Friday Night - Well tonight was a little rough, Zack started 5th in his heat but got involved in a caution and finished 8th in his heat. He started 8th in the B Main and got 3rd. But there was not a lot of passing so he finished 14th in the feature. Saturday Night - Tonight was a little rough as well as zack finished 6th in his heat race. He did gather the car up for the feature and went form 22nd - 14th!

 Zack won his heat race tonight. he started on the pole of the feature but we got out motored by Blattler and Shryock and ended up 3rd. Still another good night for the 33z!

 Tonight was a good night for the 33z. Zack went from 4th to 3rd in the heat race and started 11th in the feature. The car was good but Zack got held up a little bit in traffic. Still finished 6th though!

 Tonight went pretty well, Zack won his heat and started 2nd in the feature. He led the first 6 laps till the caution and then he got passed by some cars but later on we found out that he had a bad right front shock. Zack ended up 9th but still a solid top 10 finish!

 Tonight went awesome!!! Zack went 5th to 3rd in his heat race and started 10th for the feature! Zack made his way through alot of good cars and raced side by side with Nascar Star Kenny Schrader for about 6 laps before he got ahead of him and clenched the win!!! Way to go 33z!

 Tonight was another good night. Zack went from 5th to 3rd in his heat and started 10th again in the feature. That didn't stop him Zack got up and finished 3rd!!

 Well Zack finished the end of the 6 day swing with another great night. He finished second in his heat and redrew 7 for the feature. There was several cautions but Zack did really well on on the restarts and finished third. We are off for a day then start another four day swing!

 Well the track was pretty heavy and hammer down tonight. We started toward the end of our heat race and finished 6th. He ended up pulling off to save the motor and the car in the feature!!

 Tonight was a good night for the 33z team! He started 2nd in his heat filled with alot of tough drivers and finished 2nd. He redrew 8 for the feature and got up to 5th to finish the feature! Good night tonight!

 Well tonight started out a little rough. Zack got up a little to high in the heat race and went over the edge so that made him run a B Main. He started 5th and got 2nd in that starting him 14th in the A Main and finishing 8th! Another good top ten for the team!

 Tonight was a good night! Zack did excellent in his heat going from 7th to 3rd and getting in the redraw. He redrew 5th for the feature and ended up 3rd! Great night tonight and he also sealed up 2nd in the Great Plains Region! We start the Hunt next week and we are 3rd going in, so hopefully it just gets better!

 Zack had a great night tonight. He started on the pole of his heat and won it by about a half straight away! He started 8th in the feature and got up to 4th right away. Then he passed for 3rd and was running close with Kelly Shryock & Ryan Gustin but at the line Tommy Meyers got Zack and we finished 4th! So it was a great night!

 Tonight wasn't that great of a night due to track conditions. He got 7th in his heat but then he stated 18th in the B Main and Zack got up to 2nd. There wasn't much passing in the feature but he finished 12th.

 Tonight was another good night to end the 4 day swing. Zack started 5th and in the heat got spun and had to go to the tail. His car was good enough to get back up to 2nd. He started 6th in the feature and getting under race leader Jason Hughes a few times thought he had the car to win, but a wreck brought out a late caution and he got shoved back to 4th for the end, but still a great finish!

 Tonight was a pretty good night. Zack started 7th in his heat and got 3rd. He started 10th in the feature and was running around 9th for the longest time and then with like 4 to go his car just went and he passed 4 cars getting up to 5th for the checkered. Another top 5 for the 33z machine!

 Tonight started out rough. Zack started 4th in the heat race and finished 5th. He started 6th in the B Main and just qualified finishing 6th. He started 23rd for the 30 lap A Feature and his car was so great.... He was running the bottom and with 6 to go was under the 3rd and 2nd place cars but a caution came out and he had to go back to 4th where he finished. But we can't complain at all he received the most points out of any driver tonight and received hard charger!! Ready to go on for next week!

 Tonight started out kinda rough, Zack broke a drive belt in his heat race so he had to start at the tail of the B Main and finished 5th. He started 22nd in the A Main and half way through was up to 12th but then started to rain so, that is where we had to settle for. But the car was pretty good and overall not disappointed.

 Well tonight was a long night. Zack didn't do so great in the heat but did qualify for the A Main through the B Main. He started 20th in the A Feature and the car was really good he got up to 5th and also got Hard Charger. Then we raced another feature that had been rained out previously in the season and Zack went from 13th to 6th there. So good night all around!

 Well the first night got rained out so we had to run at Noon on Saturday (which day races aren't ever good due to the sun and track conditions) It was one lane and we had to start deep so we just pulled in. For the big 12,000 to win feature Zack qualified to start 12th through his heat race and right away got up to 7th, but due to some cautions got shuffled back to 12th again. Then with two to go he started 8th and ended up passing 2 cars coming out of 4 and ended up 6th. So great night to end on!!

 Well tonight didn't go as good as we hoped. Zack started sixth in the heat and finished 7th. He got sixth in the b main so he started 19th in the feature and finished 12th.

 Due to all the rain we started out the weekend rescuing our hauler and camper from the flood of the creek down in the pit area, but once it dried up a little we got back in there and were ready to race. We ran Fridays show first and did okay coming home with a 15th place finish. Then came Saturdays show and Zack went from 5th to 1st in the heat and getting 2nd in passing points. He started the feature 8th and with a few to go passed a few cars getting a top 5 for the big show!

 Well we had great weather for this weekend of racing!!! I remember last year it snowed on us so it was a much improvement! Friday night was a good night... Zack started 4th in his heat and won it. He drew the pole for the feature and went away with the win! Saturday night we qualified for the feature and was running 4th when we blew a right rear tire! Still a good weekend!

 Houston was a great success for us! The first night Zack went from 7th to 2nd in the heat which definately put him in the redraw! We redrew 3 for the feature. Zack was good right away and by lap 8 he took the lead and led the rest of the 23 laps for the win! Friday night was yet another awesome night! He started 6th in the heat and won his heat race. We redrew 1 for the feature and Zack led the whole thing for the second night in a row being the feature winner! Saturday night was another great night! He started 3rd in his heat and won it! He redrew 5 for the feature, he was good but not quite as good as Rodney Sanders, but we finished 2nd for the 3rd night and brought home $8,000.00 for the weekend!
