 On Friday Zack started his heat in 3rd place and finished in 4th. In the "B" Main he started 5th and finished 6th. In the "A" Main he started 26th and finished 19th. On Saturday Zack started 11th and finished 5th in the heat race. In the "B" Main he started 2nd and finished 4th. In the "A" Main he started 24th and finished 19th.

King of America X powered by Summit

 Finished 9th on Friday

 The Summit USMTS National Championship fueled by Casey’s invaded the Humboldt Speedway for King of America X powered by Summit. Three nights turned into two nights and a morning matinee thanks to Mother Nature. On Friday night, Zack finished second in his heat race after starting fourth. In the main event, he drew the dreaded No. 8 and started outside of the fourth row, eventually bringing home a ninth-place finish. On Saturday night, he went from fifth to fourth in his heat and then fought his way from fourth to finish second in the second “B” Main, which qualified him for his tenth straight King of America main event. After starting 18th, Zack was able to complete just 18 laps before retiring from the race in 28th, thus ending a streak of nine top-15 finishes or better in a row.

King of America X powered by Summit

 Finished 21st in Main Event

 After being rained out Thursday night, the USRA Modifieds got an early start Saturday with a morning matinee at 10 a.m. Since not a USMTS race, Zack merely took the green flag and got a feel for the track and his VanderBuilt Race Cars machine. He started 10th in his heat and then took the green from the 19th spot in the "A" Main but pulled off in 21st place.

Karl Chevrolet USMTS Spring Challenge

 Finished 20th on Friday
 Finished 14th on Saturday

 When the inaugural USMTS vs UMP Spring Challenge was canceled at the 34 Raceway, the event quickly moved north where the Summit USMTS National Championship fueled by Casey’s held a two-night battle at the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa. On Friday, Zack finished sixth in his heat race but bounced back to pass five cars and finish fourth in his "B" Main. He started 20th in the main event and that's where he stayed. On Saturday, things improved with a solid heat win and then an outside third row starting spot for the main event. Struggling with mechanical issues, however, relegated 'The Z-Man' to a 14th-place finish at the end of the 40-lapper.

Kansas City, KS

7th Annual USMTS Spring Sizzler

 Finished 16th in Main Event

 Zack drew the 7th starting spot in his heat race Friday at the Lakeside Speedway and worked his into 6th by the end. He clawed his way from 11th to finish 5th and get the 21st starting spot in the main event. From there, he battled forward to take home 16th out of the nearly 50 entries for the night. Next up: Tri-State Speedway on Saturday night.

Pocola, OK

7th Annual USMTS Drive4JRT.com Juggernaut

 Finished 13th in Main Event

 Saturday, May 15, took the 33z Racing Team to the Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, Okla. Zack held on to finish 5th in his heat race which placed him 5th to start his "B" main. No problem. He won that which put him 15th on the grid for the "A" main. By race's end he crossed the finish line in 13th. Next up is a Memorial Weekend tripleheader a bit closer to home in Northern Iowa and Southern Minnesota at three tracks 'The Z-Man' has tasted victory at before.

Rock Rapids, IA

13th Annual USMTS Rapid Rumble

 Finished 17th in Main Event

 Friday night at the Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa, Zack's Memorial Day Weekend started off as rough as can be. After finishing 8th in his heat race, he pulled in early from his "B" main and accepted a provisional starting spot in the "A" main, eventually winding up 17th at the checkers.

Spring Valley, MN

18th Annual USMTS Southern MN Spring Challenge

 Finished 2nd in Main Event

 Things turned around for the 33Z Racing team on Saturday at the Deer Creek Speedway. A much-needed het race win put 'The Z-Man' in the redraw and he grabbed the No. 3 pill. He battled up front the whole race and nearly took the lead from Rodney Sanders around the halfway point. Lapped traffic kept him from challenging for the win but Zack picked up a much-needed runner-up finish worth $5,000.

13th Annual USMTS Nordic Nationals

 Finished 6th in Main Event

 Memorial Day Weekend for the Summit USMTS National Championship fueled by Casey’s concluded Sunday at the Upper Iowa Speedway with the 13th Annual USMTS Nordic Nationals. Zack stormed from 6th to 2nd in his heat race and then drew the fifth starting spot for the $10,000-to-win main event. After challenging the leaders early on, he loaded up with a 6th-place paycheck and a second straight top-10 finish.

9th Annual USMTS River City Rumble

 Finished 10th in Main Event

 Friday night in Jefferson, S.D., the 33Z Racing team kicked off another USMTS doubleheader. A 4th place finish in his heat race left Zack in a "B" Main but he picked up the win and grabbed the 13th starting spot in the "A" Main. Following a tire-eating 35-lap main event, he held on to earn the 10th spot.

 Finished 26th in Main Event

 The season finale for the Summit USMTS National Championship fueled by Casey’s took place Saturday, Oct. 30, at the 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan., for the 2nd Annual USMTS Modified Spook-tacular. Zack finished 7th in his heat race and then moved up from 6th to 5th in his “B” Main. In the Casey’s “A” Main, Zack was credited with 26th place after mechanical issues forced him out on lap 7.
